| This is a limited edition CD-R in celebration of Slacktone's 10 years together. The disc was produced for their 10th anniversary party. Powerful performances, as we've come to expect, captured raw and alive in Berlin, warts and all. The recording is marred by the stage mic not being turned off in time on several occasions, but the majority of the performances are so hot that it's worth ignoring! -- Phil Dirt - Reverb Central

"This is a live document of Slacktone's performance in Prague on June
25th, 2001. This release is lovingly dedicated to their bassist Mike
Sullivan, who died a short while after returning from the tour. What's
most evident on listening to Slacktone now is just how significant
Mike's precision bass thunder was to the power of the band. He was
always on time, always playing exactly what Dave and Dusty needed to be
free to launch their assault. This CD captures the kinetic magic that
comes from the synergy of these fine musicians." Phil Dirt, Reverb Central

The
wait is always
so-o-o long, but finally the new Slacktone CD. Into The Blue Sparkle is
a brilliantly powerful sparkling experiential sonic flow. Dave
Wronski's sense of riff is unique. His writing is immediately
identifiable, yet always fresh. This is the mark of a great writer,
like Henry Mancini, Ennio Morricone or Jim Thomas. Brilliant
guitaristry supported by the trademark excellence of the best rhythm
section in surf music. Dave Wronski's gorgeous guitar work, Mike
Sullivan's perfect bass lines, and Dusty Watson's incredible drums...
What's really hard is writing concise descriptions of talent this
strong without seeming to gush on incessantly. Simply one of the best
trios out there, Slacktone has put together yet another exceptional
release. All I can say is see 'em, hear 'em, buy 'em!" Phil Dirt,

| "Oh,man!!! A killer CD full of stellar material from very together players. The writing is really good, from straight ahead surf rants to amazing jazz excursion all reverbed out. Some tracks are entirely unique - unlike anything you've ever heard before. An incredible first CD!" Phil Dirt, Reverb Central | ||

| "Helsinki's Goofin' Records subsidiary Gas Records has wisely seen fit to issue two exceptional tracks from Slacktone's latest CD. In general, Slacktone is just about the best instrumental band on the scene. These two tracks are stellar, and they deserve every exposure they can muster. Lots of real power and subtlety, and simply awesome talent. Slacktone is an incredibly fine band. Oh yeah, it comes of creamy medium blue vinyl." Phil Dirt, Reverb Central | ||
